Privacy Policy
What AgentWrite collects, why, and who else touches it. Short version: what the service needs to work, nothing sold, and your card details never reach us.
Last updated August 10, 2026
1. What we collect
Only what the service needs to work:
- Your account — your name, email address, and your password stored as a one-way hash. We can't read your password.
- What you put in — the property details, features, and notes you enter.
- What comes back out — the copy generated for your properties, saved to your account so you can return to it.
- Usage counts — how many pieces you've generated this month, so plan limits can be applied.
- Billing status — your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan, and whether a trial is running. Not your card number.
- Feedback — if you send a note through the feedback box, the message and any reply address you give.
- Basic technical data — your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated sign-in and sign-up attempts.
We don't ask for the addresses of the homes you list, and we don't collect anything about your clients. Please don't put client details into the notes field.
2. How we use it
To run the service, and not much else:
- Generating copy from the details you enter.
- Keeping your properties and saved copy available to you.
- Applying plan limits and handling your subscription.
- Answering you when you contact us or send feedback.
- Keeping accounts secure and preventing abuse.
We do not sell your information, and we don't run advertising trackers on the app.
3. AI processing
When you ask for a piece of copy, the property details and notes for that property are sent to our AI provider, which returns the draft. We send the property information and nothing about your account beyond what the request needs.
We do not use your content to train AI models. The provider processes it to produce your draft and is bound by its own terms for API traffic.
4. Payments
Payments and subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and never touch our servers — we never see or store a full card number. What we keep is the identifiers Stripe gives us so we know which plan your account is on.
5. Who else processes your data
We use a small number of providers to run AgentWrite. They only process data on our instructions:
- Hosting and delivery of the app.
- A managed Postgres database where your account and copy live.
- An AI provider that generates the drafts.
- Stripe, for payments and subscriptions.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the service and its users from harm.
6. How long we keep it
Your account, properties, and generated copy stay until you ask us to remove them. Deleting a property also deletes the copy written for it, straight away and permanently.
There is no self-serve account deletion yet. Email us and we'll delete your account and its contents. Some records may persist briefly in backups, and Stripe keeps its own payment records to meet its legal obligations.
7. Security
Passwords are hashed, traffic runs over HTTPS, and access to the database is limited to what runs the service. No online service can promise perfect security, and we won't pretend otherwise — but if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you.
8. Cookies
AgentWrite sets a cookie to keep you signed in, and remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode. That's it — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing them signs you out.
9. Your choices
You can see and edit your properties and copy at any time in the app. For a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, email us and we'll sort it out. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal data; tell us what you need and we'll do our best to honour it.
10. Contact
Privacy questions and deletion requests go to tjt5560@gmail.com. Our Terms of Service cover the rest of the agreement.
